Ok, o Brasil não conseguiu emplacar nem uma indicação ao Oscar com “Tropa de Elite 2”, e nem um como melhor animação em “Rio”. Mas, ao menos, estamos concorrendo ao Oscar de Melhor Canção Original com “Real Rio”, da animação Rio. Para quem não se lembra é a música de abertura do filme.
A música foi escrita e produzida por Sergio Mendes, John Powell, Carlinhos Brown, Mikael Mutti e Siedah Garret. E entre os cantores está Jesse Eisenberg, Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway, George Lopez, will. i.am.
“Real Rio” terá apenas um concorrente, e de peso, “Man or Muppet” do filme “Muppets” e devo dizer que a música é bem legal. Mas melhor que a do Rio? Claro que não!!!! Acho que a chance de Muppets reside na memória afetiva que as pessoas que forem votar tem dos bonequinhos, que existem há décadas.
O interesante que a Academia só escolheu estas duas canções para concorrer ao prêmio máximo da categoria. O Oscar será dia 26 de Fevereiro
